The transfer of rural labor force is the common law in the process of modernization in the world, where from agriculture to non-agriculture sectors and from country to city. The rural labor transfer of China to non-agricultural industries and form a certain scale started in the80’s. Over the past30years, the rural labor transfer plays a great role in solving the rural surplus labors employment, peasant income generation and coordinated development of urban and rural areas. But entered in the21st Century, the loss of large number of rural laborers from agriculture express negative effects continuously, the main body of agricultural production become weakness; large farmland is fallowed; the phenomenon of "Non-food production" become intensified, etc. these problems threat to the sustainable development of agriculture seriously, which should be paid highly attention.Based on the traditional dual economies theory, and according to the latest research achievements in domestic and abroad theories as reference, this paper focus on the influence of rural labors loss on agricultural development in Yunnan, in order to find out the new way to solve the current agricultural development problem and reasonable policy proposals, for ensure the sustainable development of agriculture in Yunnan.
