In recent years, along with the vigorous development of China’s tourism, the rural tourism advances fast. At present, there are more studies on residents’perceptions and attitudes to rural tourism in overseas, the studies on perceptions and attitudes in China mainly concentrated in the heritage tourism destination, seaside destinations, urban destinations, ancient villages destinations, mountain resorts and so on, the studies on rural tourism are less, especially lack researches to deep into rural tourism to explore perceptions and attitudes from a micro-perspective. This article looks at residents of tourist destination, taking the place of Yuan Jiacun for example, using literature analysis, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Provide a reference for relevant departments to develop policies and programs, to promote residents and tourism destination harmonious and sustainable development.This article includes three parts:The first is analysis on residents’perceptions on tourism effects and attitude to tourism development, finding the problems in the tourism development, judging the life cycle of destination and tourism development stage based on the perceptions and attitude; The second is classification of inhabitants of destinations, judging the residents’attitude> characteristics of different residents and their issues of concern in the tourism development, so as to make appropriate development strategies; The third is analysis on differences of perception and attitude among different residents, exploring its inner mechanism and finding a universal law, from the point of residents’demographic characteristics, residents’tourism association and resident community attachment, build the influence factors model of residents’perception and attitudes on tourism effects in rural tourism destination.The main conclusions drawn in this article:(1)The residents structure is prominet in rural tourism. There are more male people; More older people but less young people; The education level is medium-low, having fewer highly educated residents; Most family are three generations under one roof; Fewer residents hold an office or post, most are private owners and farmers; Residents tourism association is high and resident community attachment is strong.(2)The residents’perceptions on tourism effects and attitude to tourism development are positive. The perceptions on environment is stronger than economy and socioculture, positive perceptions is stronger than negative perceptions, and there are several problems. In general, residents are satisfied with local tourism development, they think tourism development have more advantages than disadvantages, and support to develop the tourism industry.(3)Tourism destination is at"early stage"of Butler tourism destination life cycle, residents’attitude is at"rapport stage"of Doxey tourism development stage.(4)There are significant differences in residents’perceptions on tourism effects and attitude to tourism development. There are three kinds of residents:active supporters, rational supporters and unconcern resupporters.(5)The influence factors of residents’perception on tourism effects and attitudes to tourism development. The influence factors model of residents’perception and attitudes in rural tourism destination shows:Male residents are stronger than female; resident age is positive related to the tourism development attitude; Resident tourism correlation is positive related to perception of positive tourism effect、negative tourism sociocultural effect and attitude to tourism development, but it is negative related to the negative effect of tourism economy; Resident community attachment is positive related to perception of positive tourism effect and attitude.The innovations of this article:Questionnaire is the method of study on residents’perceptions and attitudes, there are some disadvantages and error; Using depth interview, we can directly ask the perspectives’respondents and provide opportunities for them to express their point, ensuring the authenticity of the results; This article combines questionnaire and depth interviews, so the conclusion is more comprehensive and objective. Domestic researches on perceptions and attitudes regard demographic characteristics as the primary means of variance, this article added resident tourism correlation and resident community attachment.In the future, study on the residents’perceptions and attitudes should be more in favor of different stages of longitudinal comparison, as well as the different features of rural tourism of residents’perceptions and attitude during the same period comparison. What’s more, it should broad the scope.
