Since research on credit is mainly focused on individual consumer credit, business credit, etc., it is rare to find studies on professional credit of construction project manager, which involves more qualification assessment, competency assessment and performance appraisal. Assessment of construction project manager’s professional credit is an evaluation of credibility, as well as the quantification of trust which the employers of project managers have on whether their employees will complete the task with willingness and professional competence. The project manager is the heart and soul of the project management, whose professional credit and performance have a significant impact on project’s success. In this thesis, we focus on solving three key issues, namely the construction of comprehensive evaluation index system of project managers’professional credit, the determination of the index weight, and the comprehensive evaluation model. First, we divide the comprehensive evaluation index system of project managers’professional credit into two parts, namely professional ethics and professional competence, to ensure a comprehensive and scientific index system. During the process, we creatively divide professional ethics’indicators into the following eight sub-indexes: honesty, loyalty, probity, justice degrees, helping degrees, devoting degrees, openness and secrecy, and define the contents of each index. Professional competence is another important factor of project managers’professional credit, as well as a strong complement to professional ethics indicators, which fully embodies the employment standards of "possessing both ability and morality while morality comes first", and stands in line with China’s national conditions.Secondly, when determining the index weight, we use a combination of subjective and objective methods of empowerment, which not only fully consider the advantages of objective and subjective weighting empowerment, but also make up for the lack of them. Finally, for the issue of comprehensive evaluation model, we creatively apply Grey Relational Grade, TOPSIS method and the geometric average method to the construction project managers’professional credit evaluation. By making analysis using practical examples in order to choose relatively better evaluation model, we could transform the evaluation from a single index evaluation into a more overall and comprehensive one.
