The objective of this paper is to offer the theory references to the tablet PC development and manufacture industry and help them to improve the new product development speed, efficiency and competitiveness and boost the business sustainable development in future.The object of this paper is the ODM management of consumer electronic products in the M group D company. This paper is based primarily on the Tablet PC ODM management case of company D, analyse the consumer electronics products PLM management situation and existing problems and give solutions through research.The main research methods of this paper are empirical analysis, comparative analysis, and product model canvas analysis. ODM development history and the newest research thesises were researched in this paper that coveing the latest domestic and international research. ODM-based management of consumer electronics product development, team building, cross-company collaboration, the process design and optimization of product development were also researched in this paper. This study is based on case, analyzed electronics companies operating in the ODM management implementation process of how to improve product quality, reduce development costs and to control the delivery period.Concluded from the research that ODM is a inevitable trend of enterprise development and the outcome of the market-driven and sustainable development. ODM application wiil boost the success proportion of new product development and improve the product’s key competitiveness.
