Research On Optimization Of The Vegetable Industrial Region Distribution In Shandong Province

Optimizing the region distribution of vegetable industry, accelerating the industrialrestructuring of vegetable industry and developing modern vegetable industry is the mostimportant task to speed up the modern agriculture progress. The region distribution ofvegetable industry is established in the resource endowments and historical foundationsbetween different regions. We search for an rational vegetable industry dividing mode withthe action of regional differences in a certain spatial range. Based on the comparativeadvantage theory, this paper mainly discusses the region distribution of vegetable industry.This paper organizes related concepts and theoretical basis of the vegetable industrial regiondistribution. We also analyze the comparative advantages of different vegetable planting indifferent places combining with the overall situation of vegetable industry and the evolutionof the vegetable industrial distribution in Shandong province. Based on these analyses theproblems of vegetable industrial region distribution in Shandong province are discussed. Wereach the optimization of vegetable industrial region distribution. Relevant concepts of thisarticle are as follows: Industrial connotation and denotation，Industrial layout，rationalizationof industrial structure，vegetables and vegetable industry. And related theoretical basis arecomparative advantage theory, central place theory, industrial location theory, industrialcluster theory. By comparing the vegetable planting area, vegetable planting area, outputvalue between different districts and different years(1992-2011), we can get the evolutioncharacteristics of vegetable industry around the cities. With the help of regional vegetableproduction scale, per unit area yield and output value, this paper calculates the comparativeadvantage index of each place in Shandong province in order to find out the vegetable whichpossess comparative advantages, such as scale comparative advantage index, efficientcomparative advantage index, value comparison advantage index and comprehensivecomparative advantage index. Finally, based on discussing the existing problems, we putforward the standard of regional layout optimization，and optimization tactics of the vegetableindustrial region distribution in Shandong province.In the research of this paper we adopted current theory and detailed on-the-groundstudies, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. We have abundant theories andprofound on-the-spot investigation. Vegetable industrial region distribution plays an importantrole in the development of modern vegetable industry. At present, the vegetable industry inShandong province has not formed an rational region distribution. We believe, only by relying on the actively and efficiently participation of the government and farmers, can we promotethe region distribution of vegetable industry in Shandong province.
