In recent years, with the improvement of China’s financial market and policysupport, China’s futures market develops rapidly. China’s commodity futures turnoverrises year after year, and the number and the size of futures companies are alsoexpanding. Avoiding risks, futures market shows tremendous room for growth, andhas become an important financial market. Besides, it has broad prospects fordevelopment.However, futures companies started to grow in later period, leading enterprisesystem development to be highly inadequate, especially in compensation managementand performance management. Being immature and imperfect, compensationmanagement and performance management cause the lack of enthusiasm ofemployees, and deteriorate the economic efficiency of enterprises. Labor conflictsappear, which is a serious impediment to future development and expansion of thecompany. How to improve the futures companies’ pay management and performancemanagement, and make individual performance and organizational performanceconsistent, is an urgent research to enhance the competitiveness of the futurescompany.In this paper, Tianfu Futures Company is regarded as a case study. Throughfield visits, detailed understanding of Tianfu Futures Company’s existing salarysystem and performance management is made. Binding the nature of the industry, thecompany’s characteristics and status, deep analysis of the problem and causes arediscussed. On this basis, this paper re-plans of the company’s pay system andperformance management, proposes design principles, and put forward someimplementation. Finally, appropriate safeguards and recommendations are discussed.This paper analyzes the problem and reasons of Tianfu Futures Company‘ssalary system and performance management. Putting forward an improved program,some safeguard measures, the research holds the intention that scientific andstandardized salary system and performance management can effectively playincentive mechanism, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff, which enhanceemployee productivity and economic efficiency of the enterprise, and help the enterprise to achieve its strategic objectives. Meanwhile, we hope this study can havecertain guiding value on the same industry enterprises. |
