With the development of new media technologies, the mobile terminal has taken the c enter stage in our daily communications.A variety of mobile apps and mobile paymen t tools have been created. In addition to making calls and sending short messages, peo ple are getting used to using their smartphones for social networking, net surfing, onli ne shopping and etc. Quick Response Codes (QR Codes) have been around since the1ast century, but it’s only with the widespread adoption of smartphones that it can reach into every corner of the globe. Due to its characteristics, QR Codes has brought new opportunities and challenges to traditional advertising industry. This thesis, it light of communication studies, probes into how to use QR Codes to obtain the optimal marke ting mix.
