Study On Basic Farmland Delineation In Renqiu County Based On Agricultural Land Classification Results

Arable land is the essence of the land, and the most basic means of agriculturaldevelopment. Along with the socio-economic development and the expansion of humandemand for land, problems of construction land blind expansion and farmland protectionpolicy contradictions have become increasingly prominent, and a large number of highquality arable land are occupied for construction land, which means farmland protectionare facing unprecedented pressures and challenges. The delimitation of basic farmland isan important strategic measure to ease the man-land relationship tension and ensure foodsecurity, which relates to the social and economic sustainable development. Traditionalprime farmland planning always pay attention to the quantity despise quality, and payattention to the production function and despise the ecological and socio-economicfunctions. In this article, the author took Renqiu city as an example, based on theprediction of basic farmland ownership and the result of agricultural land gradation,considered from the natural quality conditions, ecological landscape conditions, siteconditions and socio-economic conditions, established the comprehensive evaluation indexsystem which were suitable for the study area. And on this basis, combining prediction ofarable land and basic farmland ownership in Renqiu city, we can work out the basicfarmland protection planning of Renqiu city. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the result of agricultural land gradation, considered from the naturalquality conditions, ecological landscape conditions, site conditions and socio-economicconditions, the author established the comprehensive evaluation index system for basicfarmland protection planning, calculated and standardized the indicator data, whichprovided a theoretical basis for the scientific planning of basic farmland, and establishedthe model of basic farmland protection delineation using multi-factor method.(2) Based on predicting a certain number of people’s demand for food in Renqiu City,calculating the demand for basic farmland in2020, Renqiu City, and combining with thebasic farmland constraint index of higher authorities, determined the basic farmlandplanning area in Renqiu City was53268.58hm2ultimately.(3)In this study, ArcGIS software was used to determine the basic farmland protection areas by assigning the plots of the study area on the basis of the index system.Comprehensive evaluation score in more than75areas are designated as basic farmlandprotection areas and finally we get the area of basic farmland protection areas and spatiallayout.The basic farmland mainly distributed in Yu village,Changfeng town,Majiawutown,Liangzhao town,Yilunbao village and Shimenqiao town. The county’s basic farmlandprotection area is53268.58hm2.And the basic farmland protection rate is86.50%.In thispaper, I analyzed the reasonable of the plan from both the quality and layout of basicfarmland.And played a certain role in guiding the basic farmland Planning of Renqiu City.
