In the1950s it began to appear the economy hotel which has developed especially rapidly in the United States, since developed so far, the economy hotel has been a very mature industry in Europe and the United States. In China, the economy hotel has been growing rapidly in recent years which would continue to develop. Since1996, Jinjiang hotel management group constructed the first economy hotel Jinjiang inn in China, after several years of rapid development, some international famous brands such as Speed8, Ibis hotels and domestic famous brand like Hanting hotel have been expanded very fast. A budget hotel chain of each big brand, has been set up in the domestic cities which were first-tier and second-tier cities.The economy hotel speeded up scale expansion.At present, China’s economy hotel development in the area there are uneven phenomenon, the most famous economy hotel brands are mainly distributed in the Beijing-Tianjin, Yangtze river delta and pearl river delta area, in these areas, the economy hotels show saturated state. Among them, the distribution of Wuzhong district economy hotel and unbalanced quantity and structure have already can’t meet the needs of the development of the city which is in urgent need of planning guide to construct a group of urban development and adapt to the economy hotel. In addition, because the economy hotel has been overexploited which would lead to increased competition, especially for the investors which join the enterprise quickly of purpose to short-term speculation and looking forward to do big listed, that deepen the economy hotel industry development unpredictability. The next three to five years, on the one hand, Wuzhong district economy hotel market will be the competition of capital, the development speed of the bout will be given priority to, at the same time, the construction of the hotel brand competition, the quality of service, competitive and comprehensive management ability of competition in the competition will become more and more dominant. Those hotels that the capital power are weak and only pay attention to the size of hotel, will face the fate of mergers, acquisitions.It will form a "strong constant is strong, the law of the jungle" situation, Wuzhong district economy hotel market will face the challenges of the industry reshuffle.In view of the above questions, it based on thorough investigation market and comprehensive analysis of consumer demand, this paper will predict the future urban development phase which will match the demand of economy hotel, and effectively meet the market. This paper puts forward Wuzhong district economy hotel development problems and strategies, to realize the better and faster development of tourism economy.
