| Agriculture is the base of national economy, and the development of agricultural production is related to national food security and social stability in China. Since China reformed and opened to the outside world, under the influence of household registration system reform and the expanding gap of urban and rural income, the majority of the labors force began to pour into the city,. So the number of labor force engaged in agricultural production is greatly reduced, affecting the development of agricultural production. Therefore, the research of the impact on agricultural production of rural labor transfer has an important practical significance, especially for the development of agricultural production and the guarantee of the supply of agricultural products.According to western economics, economics for development, agricultural economics and other theory related, based on the investigation in four districts of Chongqing(Zhongxian, Dianjiang, Changshou and Fuling), the thesis will discuss the impact of agricultural production under the transfer of rural labor. It will combine the influence degree of agricultural land, the investigation data and macroscopic statistical data with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method. Through the analysis of the transfer of rural labor force in Chongqing, the thesis will start from three aspects:the influence on the quantity and quality of agricultural labor force, the impact on agricultural capital input and agricultural production. On this basis, it will get some enlightenment. The main conclusions are as follows:First, the transfer of agricultural labor causes the decrease in the number of rural labor force in Chongqing, in the structure of the aging, feminine, low quality trend. The decrease of rural labor force and the deterioration of the agricultural structure make parts of Chongqing in the shortage of labor. It is difficult to popularize agricultural science and technology. These problems hinder the agricultural production and the development of modern agriculture.Second, instead of the significant decrease of multiple cropping index, the transfer of rural labor increases uncultivated leaving land in Chongqing.At the same time, the cultivated area of planting households and the arable land of agricultural labor force also increase substantially. On the whole, the transfer of rural labor reduced the utilization efficiency of farmland, but it is conducive to realize the appropriate management of the cultivated land.Third, after rural labor force transferred, the economic income of farmers increased significantly, but there was no corresponding increase in the agricultural investment. Agricultural investment is at the same level to rise slightly. The transfer of rural labor did not affect the agricultural output of the entire city of Chongqing, but the crop planting area decreased.At last but not the least, under the background of the transfer of large number of rural labor, in order to achieve sustainable development of agricultural production, the government should develop township enterprises vigorously, and promote the local transfer of rural labor force. The government should also integrate the land transfer mechanism, promote land scale operation and strengthen the construction of talent team. The government should balance the three aspects:attracting talent, retaining talent and training them. |
