Study On The Impact Of Technology Introduction On Technological Innovation In China’s High-tech Industry

In the era of knowledge economy, science and technology globalization has beenfurther deepen, competition in the national economic development has turned to talentpeople, technology, information, and high-tech industry. The history of economicdevelopment in developed countries indicates economically developed countries tend toget rid of the economic and technical backwardness through appropriate technologyinnovation strategy, and achieve rapid economic development, fundamentally improve thecountry’s overall national strength. The technology introduction and technologicalinnovation capability of China’s high-tech industry has enhanced quickly, study onwhether there is a relationship and the impact of this relationship to what extent has theimportant significance.Firstly, we summarize relevant literature of technical introduction, and we find thereare less study on how technical introduction infects technological innovation capabilityand empirical results are quite different. Secondly, the introduction of technology fundinginvestment and technological innovation inputs and outputs from the high-tech industryare with a consistency on total, industry distribution, and enterprise distribution.Furthermore, through analysising effects of the introduction of technology, we find theintroduction of technology diffusion effect will promote technological innovation.However, the introduction of technology will cause technology dependence andorganizational inertia domain, resulting in the introduction of technology companies willtend to continue to introduce technology, therefore there must be the dynamic mechanismfrom the introduction of technology into of technological innovation, and thus we formthe mechanism as "technical introductionâ†'accumulation of technical capacity,technological dependence and organizations accustomed to the domainâ†'strategydevelopment drive, technology supply "reverse" drive, demand changes in market drivenand national innovation environment drivingâ†'progressive innovation or breakthroughinnovationâ†'innovation performance ". And then, we use China’s high-tech industrypanel data for the study, form the empirical model based on the knowledge productionfunction, and use the unit root test, cointegration test, hybrid estimation model, causal analysis, we find that the introduction of technology has the positive impact to thetechnological innovation capability of China’s high-tech industry. With respect to theimpact of new product sales, the introduction of technology patent applications issignificantly smaller, which indicates independent intellectual property rights rely oninnovation. Finally, we suggest foscuing on strengthening macro-management, enhancingdigestion and absorption, improving independent innovation policies, optimizingpersonnel, deepening the sense of innovation to promote technology innovation capability.
