Study The Application Of BLM In The Information Management Of Commercial Real Estate

Due to the development of commercial real estate in china is in itsinfancy, corresponding development technology and idea are lacking,while commercialreal estate developers most are unprofessional. The characteristic of commercial realestate increases the difficulty of interactive information exchange between differentstages and participants. It is the key to guarantee project success that differentparticipants can cooperative work in different construction stages by informationsharing.The study is on lifecycle information management of commercial real estateholden by the owner in the paper. Information management architecture andevaluation system of commercial real estate are builded based on BLM concept, inorder to provide theoretical support for the commercial real estate lifecycle informationmanagement. First, the necessity and feasibility that BLM is applied to the commercialreal estate information management are discussed; Second, the requirements ofcommercial real estate information management are analyzed, concluding thatparticipants of information management and their responsibilities, information flow ofthe project, improvement of construction organization and process based on theinformation management requirement of BLM concept; Third, the framework of thecommercial real estate information management is built based on the concept of BLM,which is introduced respectively from the aspects that collection, modeling andapplication of date in detail; At last, the evaluation system of commercial real estate information management is designed based on the concept of BLM, making anempirical study, which can help to found deficiencies and guide improvement of BLMapplication. A whole theory system of BLM is applied to commercial real estateinformation management is formed in this paper.This study can sovol the problems caused by information loss andmiscommunication during the process of commercial real estate project management,provide theoretical support for the commercial real estate lifecycle informationmanagement, help realize the goals of commercial real estate project.
