The securities business in China is young and full of passion. In thelast twenty years, it experienced the phase of initialization, rapidlydevelopment without regulations, shutdown of many securities companiesand regulated control, while the foreign securities market went throughfor hundreds of years. With accomplishing the comprehensive treatmentin securities industry, it steps into a new development stage and adoptsthe classified supervision. In the future, the change in the ways ofoperation, service, profit and management will be the trend. The corepoint is based on the customers, aiming to fulfill the demand ofenterprises’ investment, serve the real economy and maintain the value ofwelfare.Currently, most of the securities companies adopt the traditionallycentralized straight structure, which is divided by department or region.The disadvantage is the excess of centralization and the lack of flexibility,causing the disconnection within the customers from different operationdepartments. Therefore it is difficult to efficiently achieve the goal of sharing the customers’ resource. The domestic investors are forming avarious and multi-leveled structure. In details, the demand of a singleinvestor is sometimes differential, especially for the enterprise investors.They require securities company provide service in all aspects, includingfinancial consulting, asset reorganization, investment advisory, issuingsecurities and equity management. For this reason, securities companyneeds to reorganize their management structure, in order to realize theintegration, share and management of customers’ resource and finallyestablish a long and stable relationship with customers through all-aroundservices.Soochow Securities Company as one of the listed medium and smallsecurities companies, learn the experience from the foreign investmentbanks and combine the domestic industrial specialization and its owncharacteristics. After years, Soochow explored a suitable managementstructure, which is called regionally supervisory model, and acquiredinterim success. Along with the continuous change in securities industry,Soochow Securities Company revises and improves the structure all theway. This paper will discuss the feasibility of duplicated promotingSoochow’s regionally supervisory model and give strategic advices.
