Research On Governance Mechanism Of Membership-based Golf Club In China

China’s golf club adopts the membership-based operation mode. In this paper,membership golf club is selected as the research object. In view of the existing membershipgolf club governance issues, we corporate the governance theory as the foundation, usingthe relevant experience of golf club management for reference, combined with thecharacteristics of membership. Based on what have been discussed above, constructing thegovernance mechanism for membership golf club. Put forward a new way of thinking andlogical perspective, hoping to build a Chinese membership golf club governancemechanism as far as possible and make a new contribution.In this paper, the core problem to be solved is to construct an orderly and efficientgovernance mechanism for membership golf club. Mainly from the decision-makingmechanism, incentive mechanism and constraint mechanism, membership golf club isbeing analyzed and discussed on the basis of governance mechanism of membership golfclub. On the one hand, from the perspective of golf club, it can better meet the golf clubmembers’ interests and it can resolve conflicts between the golf clubs’ interest and the golfclub members’ demands. On the other hand, from the perspective of golf club members,this paper focused on how members can better participate in the governance of golf club.By studying the governance mechanism, this paper builds a mutual supervision and mutualrestraint between the members and the golf club, works together to promote a win-wincooperative governance mechanism. With the purpose of trying to satisfy the interests ofboth the golf club and its members, this paper improves membership golf club’s governancemechanism as well as provides a reference for the stable and sustainable development ofthe golf industry.
