Fourth, there is the same focus oninfrastructure construction in developing of Datong. Urban landscape evolution is the maincharacteristic, and green coverage rate and urban per capita road area is increased by morethan50%, the area is increased by30%, garden green land area has increased more than twiceby compared with2001. Form these we can notice that Datong has grasp the point that theessence of urban development is the way of life development,and pay more attention toimprovement the standards of people’s lives; But economic development is the foundation ofurban development and engine, more attention on subsystems of lifestyle and geographicallandscape will distracted the pursuit of economic interests.To sum up, there is a great historical inertia in economic development of Datong, thesystem of endogenous power and promote industry upgrading constantly institutionalenvironment of sustainable utilization of resources and economy sustainable development hasnot formed.
