Study On Developing Strategies Of The Northwest Hospital

With the deepening of the medical and health system reform，public hospital reform isadvancing from local pilot. Public hospitals as the main body of the work, how to play aleading role in medicine and health care reform，how to solve and improve the main problemsin medical and health ifelds，its own reform and development has become the primary task.The Northwest Hospital is a large-scale General hospital which integrates medical care,teaching, research, preventive health care and rehabilitation characteristic. During the years ofdevelopment, we have gain some achievements, even though there still exists insuiffciencywhen compared with other similar hospitals. The most prominent problem is the contradictionbetween the rapid development of the work and the overall environment restricts, publichospital survival and long-term development will need to discover and take advantage of theexisting market resources, adjustment and deployment of new development strategy, breakthrough the bottleneck of the reform，should to run the hospital by the concept of strategicmanagement.On the basis of state the research situation and integrate relevant theories of developmentstrategy, according to the actual circumstances of the Northwest hospital, the author analyzesthe external environment and internal conditions, using the strategic elements of evaluation,the SWOT matrix to analyze the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threats ofthe hospital, and the matching the internal and external factors of northwest hospital toevaluate and alternative strategy, ifnally choosing expansion strategy for northwest hospitalfuture development strategy, and puts forward the implementation measures andimplementation plan to ensure the smooth implementation of the strategy.Through the research of the Northwest hospital development strategy, we hope toprovide the beneifcial reference for the establishment of development strategy of thecomprehensive hospital.
