The Relationship Between China’s Urbanization And Industrial Structure

There are relationships between urbanization and industrial structure. From theevolution of the industrial structure, overall there is a trend that proportion of threeindustries from "One, two, three" evolved into "three, two, one". Accompanied withLabor transferred from the primary industry to industry, when the per capita incomefurther improved, the labor force is transferred to the tertiary industry. This process isconducive to the improvement of agricultural productivity and the development ofnon-agricultural industries. The agglomeration of non-agricultural industries, willgenerate economies of scale, agglomerative economies, so that more businesses toenjoy the benefits of the internal and external economies, promote the rise anddevelopment of the city. Urban development, on the one hand to reduce theproduction and transaction costs, on the other hand, promote social facilities,infrastructure, public facilities, improve the quality of people’s lives, and to attractmore people and businesses into the city. The evolution of the industrial structure is aprerequisite for the development of the city, power and infrastructure, urbandevelopment, urban development is the space vector and power of the industrialstructure evolution, both to promote the rapid growth of the national economy.In this paper, the main object is the relationship between urbanization andindustrial structure. Firstly, select the data of urbanization and industrial structuresince the founding of new China, study the historical development of China’surbanization and industrial structure, And using quantitative analysis methods,compare the level of urbanization in China to some other countries, the level ofeconomic development, the level of industrialization, in order to analyze thedevelopment of urbanization in China, Secondly, using empirical analysis, analyzerelationship between urbanization and industrial structure. Finally, draw conclusions,and analyze the reason for the delay in the urbanization development, provide policyrecommendations to promote the development of urbanization and industrialstructure.
