In the past10years, China and ASEAN had successfully signed three main agreements which made a great contribution to the official launch of the China-ASEAN free trade zone in2010. This indicates that the international cooperation between China and ASEAN countries has successfully stepped into a brand-new phase during the process of regional economic integration. Recently, as the signing up and implement of the Investment Agreement of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between China and the ASEAN, The FDI has obtained tremendous growth. However, compared with the economic aggregate and international trade volume, the volume of FDI can only be considered as a starting up. The fundamental reason of this imbalance is that the bilateral investment between China and the ASEAN is far from achieving facilitation and the Investment barriers still exist.This essay is based on investment facilitation. In order to confirm that China-ASEAN direct investment facilitation not only can further speed up the growth of bilateral FDI and the development of technological progress, but also can quicken the regional economic integration. It firstly defines the concept and main content of investment facilitation and bases on what analyzes the economic and strategic effect that can be brought by investment facilitation. Then, base on the status of FDI development between China and ASEAN, analyzing the feasibility and necessity of carrying forward the investment facilitation. At last, it aims at proposing related advises on pushing forward the investment facilitation progress through several main angles, which include host county investment facilitation, home country investment facilitation and international or regional cooperation.
