To provide the rationalization for its competitive strategy and to define strategic approach of realization from the point of view of strategy, is the primary problem that every private hospital faced.This paper takes the private hospitals in Jiangxi Province as the carrier, and takes the theory of the enterprise strategy management as the tool, investigating all levels and all kinds of private hospitals in Jiangxi Province, processing and analyzing the data obtained strictly, so as to obtain the current situation of the development and the existing construction, management and service problems of private hospitals in Jiangxi province. Combined with the present development situation of the medical service industry, through the analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats existed in the internal and external environment, finding out opportunities and challenges in the development of the private hospitals in Jiangxi Province, at the same time, clearly positioning the function, effect and development goals on the basis of the people’s growing medical needs of social and economic development; Through connecting national health policy, found out the development direction of the majority of private hospitals, proposed the corresponding development strategy, including the strategy of Merger and reorganization, professional, boutique and feature. The administrative departments of public health, should also encourage and support the development of private hospitals, guide the strategic reorganization, combine each other, position accurately, implement orderly. stress the advantage, build the brand, innovate institution, develop differently, strengthen the strategy of the construction of talent team and policy support, and it has a certain reference value to the medical service industry in Jiangxi province for the rise of the central region.Due to the complexity of development of medical service industry and the confidentiality of business situation, this paper failed to make a further study of the development strategy of private hospitals in the province. However, the Jiangxi government attaches great importance to the development of private hospitals, put forward a number of policies to encourage, support and guide social capital held non-public medical institutions.
