Study On The Corelation Between International Trade In Services And Trade In Goods

Recent years, international trade in services is developing rapidly. But differentcountries in different levels of development and different stages of economicdevelopment, generally speaking the relationship between trade in services and trade ingoods are promoting each other mutually. The global economy is in a transition periodfrom a manufacturing economy to service economy, trade in services will become thedevelopment of the new commanding heights, it is the focus of the national tradecompetition under the new situation. At this stage in China is an extraordinary period ineconomy transition, the extensive mode of development of trade in goods is notsustainable, while trade in services, but also lack of competitiveness. China is facingfrom the economic big to economic power, from a big trade to a power trade, evolvedinto a major strategic choice for service-oriented economy from manufacturing-basedeconomy. Due to high domestic employment pressure and the comparative advantage oflabor intensive products surviving, and other reasons, China’s trade in goods exports,especially labor-intensive exports occupies an irreplaceable position of trade in goodsexport situation is difficult to change in the short term, but the development of trade inservices is imperative.For the first decade of adding WTO, the development of trade in services has laggedfar behind the development of trade in goods, at the development of present stage inChina. At the period of "12th Five-Year Plan", trade in goods must bring full play inleading the development of the trade in services. Happens with the new round of globalservice industrial transfer, rebalancing the global economy and the historical opportunityof China’s transition to a service economy, it must improve the service trade industrialstructure, improve the level of opening up of trade in services, enhance internationalcompetitiveness, coordinate regional development overall, achieve the goal ofinternational and domestic markets all development and growth. With the help ofinternational offshore outsourcing services, prepare the good basis of service industry,producer services and the outsourcing of service and the cultural creative trade inservices as a breakthrough, adhere to government-led, step by step, promote the serviceindustry and trade in services rapid development. For research purposes in order to promote China’s trade in services and trade ingoods with each other for development, through the analysis of the problems at this stageof global trade in services trade in goods and status, and two in the development ofChina’s current trade in services and trade in goods with each other to promote thedevelopment of the existence problems and problem-solving ideas, and gives somepolicy recommendations of the current situation in China. Rationalization proposals inline with our national conditions to enhance trade in services and trade in goods proposedon the basis of this conclusion. I hope to improve the international trade structure,balance of international payments, so as to make some contribution to China’s economicdevelopment mode transformation.
