In recent years, the price of housing in China rose unceasingly. The expenditures on house have risen steadily. The housing problem has been a hot issue of the society. The State is rolling out public rental housing to help people who with insufficient consumption capacity to buy commercial flats. How to perfect the system of Chinese public rental housing becomes a hotspot.The definition for public rental housing is displayed in this paper.Then, the predicate of public rental housing is analyzed. Because of a brief account of the origin and development of the public rental housing, some problems of the system of Chinese public rental housing were found. China should usefully learn the experiences from Singapore, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong. Finally, suggestions are put forward according to the existing problems in present system of Chinese public rental housing.
