Research On The Cultivating Of The Strategic Emerging Industries In Underdeveloped Areas

For underdeveloped areas, fostering strategic emerging industries can effectively improve the regional economic structure, transform the mode of economic growth and realize leaping development of economy, but at present, the research about strategic emerging industries from many domestic scholars mainly focus on the connotation and characteristics of strategic emerging industries, industry choice and development ideas, the research about the cultivation of strategic emerging industries for underdeveloped areas are relatively poorly studied. Based on related references and life cycle theory, the critical factors of success cultivation about strategic emerging industries for underdeveloped areas are found out in this paper,and also the corresponding strategy for nurturing are putting forward.This study includes the following four parts:First, development path and basic characteristics of the strategic emerging industries are summarized according to the relevant studies, the fundamental factors affecting the strategic emerging industries are also analyzed from the government, the environment, business and market four aspects. Second, combined with influencing factors, characteristics, natural resources, funding, policy and technical supply conditions of underdeveloped areas, the general success factors of strategic emerging industries are found out. Third, based on life cycle theory, the strategic emerging industries are divided into three period:choosing stage, after-choosing stage, growth stage. The critical factors of success cultivation and theoretical model for cultivating strategic emerging industries in underdeveloped areas are found out from this three time span. The focuses of each period for the strategic emerging industries cultivation are also determined by this model and different cultivation strategies and recommendations are proposed in the paper.
