Managerial people often encounter such a problem, why some employees dotheir job well constantly and automatically, while the others can not dothat without monitoring. People are hoping to find employees as the formerone does. But in daily administration work, under the complicatedconditions, it is really hard to tell what is the most important part ofa job, and who is the right person to make the highest performance.In our daily life, people of different personality types may makedifferent decisions and take different measures to the same problem, andtheir choice may stay stable in quite long term in their life. Fortunately,the key part of a job is also very stable. So, if one can find out thekey performance behaviors and the motives behind these behaviors, and thenfind out the personalities of people. With the help of statistic software,people may find out the correlation between the personality and the bestperformance behaviors. Then, with the help of the correlation, people maypredict their behaviors through personalities.This research take S product line in L company as a sample, S product lineis the first line to implement agile mode and achieved good results. Inthe research, we conduct the behavior event interview to18outstandingsoftware engineers and according to the records of the interviews, wesummarized4competencies of the soft engineers-custom orientation, thesense of responsibility, team spirit and innovation. Based on the resultof the interview, we design the competency behavior questionnaire. We usethe competency behavior questionnaire to get the competency behaviorsdistributions in there, and then we use the big five personalityquestionnaire to find out the personality distribution in S product line.We send out50questionnaires each, and gain46feedbacks each, and43questionnaires each can be used in the research. Finally, with the helpof SPSS statistic software, we take the correlation method ofGoodman&Kruskal`Gamma and obtained the conclusion as follows: There arethree pairs of significant correlation between the competency andpersonality type in S product line, they are,â€friendliness andinnovation behavior "," prudence and innovation behavior,"prudence andteamwork." Which, friendliness and innovation behavior is a positivecorrelation, the correlation coefficient0.543, with p=0.011; prudenceand innovation behavior is a negative correlation, the correlationcoefficient-0.616, with p=0.014; prudence and team cooperation behavioris positive related, with a correlation coefficient of0.626, and p=0.002. |
