During the period from March in2010to January in2012, the branch companies ofthe giant Taiwan enterprise FOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP in Shenzhen,Yantai, Kunshan, etc had occurred the suicide and sudden deaths of22staff members,resulted in19deaths and3injured. This incident attracted the extensive attentionfrom all circles of the society, many people took the conviction that the managementsystem and working style caused great pressure among the staff, was the main reasonfor these tragedies. For that, take the working situation of the staff in FOXCONNTECHNOLOGY GROUP as analytical object, we analyst the reasons for the greatpressure among the staff, and put forward some methods and suggestions to ease theworking pressure.First of all, basic on the theory related to work pressure from the domestic andoversea, we acquire the main reasons for the work pressure related issue by theanalysis of management system and working situation in FOXCONNTECHNOLOGY GROUP, and come to the conclusion that the great pressure amongthe staff in FOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP originated from the aspectsconclude job itself, income, development in career, relations among the staff, workenvironment and atmosphere.Secondly, on the foundation of the preliminary qualitative analysis andinvestigate the staff of the manufacturing department in LONGHUA district ofFOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP in Shenzhen, we did some statistical analysison the data acquired by questionnaire. Through the analysis, we have the overallknowledge about the pressure on the staff in FOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP.As following, staff in FOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP is facing relatively greatpressure at present. The pressure mainly originated from job itself, income,development in career, relations among the staff, work environment and atmosphere.Among the five aspects, the job itself bring the greatest pressure on the staff, incomeand development in career is the following, then comes to the relations among thestaff, work environment and atmosphere, which is relatively small. To tackle thepressure, the staff lack the technical measures expect the instinct response. The staff also constraint the measures to psychological counseling and telephone resortingwhen it comes to the organization layer related pressure, lack the official pressureassessment and management system.At last, basic on the knowledge of the pressure situation among the staff inFOXCONN TECHNOLOGY GROUP, we put forward the following measures torelieve the working pressure. Firstly, how to ease the pressure according to theconcrete origination for the company and individual. Secondly, the company and staffimprove the ability to handle work pressure. Thirdly, functional departments shouldplay the role of supervise and management to operate the company within theboundary of law and rules.
