This dissertation is mainly about the precautionary mechanism against core staff drainage in SN. Based on empirical study, this paper is to explore the reasons why core staff leave SN and its damages to the company. In addition, it will discuss on the basic idea and concrete approaches of how to prevent core staff drainage. I believe the study on core staff drainage in SN is likely to offer reference for others.The paper first introduced the topic and the research significance, and explains the differences between staff turnover and staff drainage, then outlines basic theories about staff turnover, staff drainage, staff motivation and psychological contract, and finally explains the methodology and tactics this paper will employ.This paper describes SN’s businesses, structure, people and the precautionary mechanism of staff drainage it is taking at present.The focus is on the reasons of core staff drainage:staff misplacement brought by careless recruitment, staff compensation and management lagging behind, uncompetitive working environment, staff career development hardly noticed, lack of human care, poor HR management and few concerns about staff drainage, failed to improve employee satisfaction and loyalty to strengthen the management of human resources.This paper proposes a basic idea on how to improve SN’s precautionary mechanism against core staff drainage and suggests feasible strategies to tackle the problem:to recruit staff scientifically so that they are properly placed in posts, to enhance staff compensation and management on a market-oriented basis, to provide a competitive working environment, to concern about staff career development, to diversify psychological care about staff, to improve HR management by training and to systematically and psychologically enhance management’s understanding about the problem of core staff drainage, strengthen human resources management satisfaction and loyalty of employees to cultivate a sense of belonging.Last chapter is about the conclusion of this paper and further study prospects.
