Study On The Factors Of Jiangxi Agricultural Leading Enterprise Research And Development Behavior

In recent years, scientific and technological innovation has become the focus ofcomprehensive strength’s competition between enterprises, regions and even nations. Inorder to deal with the fiercer market competition, enterprises continually improve theirtechnical ability through research and development, cooperation and the introduction oftechnological resources. In order to improve economic development, enhance innovativeability, and develop enterprises’ independent R&D capability, it is important to establishenterprises’ principle part in innovation through policies such as technological innovation.National key leading enterprises in agriculture industrialization plays an important role inthe development of agriculture industry and the promotion of agricultural productivity.China has attached great importance to “the Agriculture, the Farmer, and the Country”.Policies of scientific and technological innovation are suggested to improve enterprises’technology, which is related to technological innovation. These policies are not suggestedfor agricultural enterprises but for high-tech industrial enterprises initially. China has paidmore and more attention to the supporting policies for national key leading enterprises inagriculture industrialization in recent years. As Jiangxi is a large agricultural province, thetechnological and innovative ability of national key leading enterprises in agricultureindustrialization in Jiangxi not only affect the improvement of grain yield and farmers’income, but also the overall competitiveness of Jiangxi’s agriculture. Through reviewingliteratures about enterprise technological innovation, research and development activities,the development of national key leading enterprises in agriculture industrialization,influential factors of key leading enterprises in agriculture industry are presented fromperspectives of trade, enterprise and government. What is more, following conclusions aredrawn through variable selection, questionnaire design, data analysis and a regressionmodel. The R&D behavior of enterprises is influenced by their own environment, externalfactors, the government policy and regional development, while the main influential factor istheir selves. In order to better develop key leading enterprises in agricultureindustrialization, and establish regional innovative system, it is necessary to adopt the modeof combination of production, study and research, and improve enterprises’ competiveness.
