Research On The Impact Of Financial Support On Total Factor Productivity Of Leading Agricultural Enterprises

As of the end of 2018,there were 1243 national leading agricultural enterprises in China.On the one hand,leading agricultural industrialization enterprises in China can promote the optimization and adjustment of the agricultural industry structure and the development of agricultural products processing industry.On the other hand,they can increase farmers’ income and ensure the supply of agricultural products.However,the development of agricultural enterprises is also facing many problems;many literatures have carried out important research on enterprise total factor productivity,and have also obtained important research conclusions.The main influencing factors of enterprise total factor productivity include enterprise production scale,capital input,and labor input There are four aspects of financing constraints,but it can be seen that existing research ignores the impact of financial support on the productivity of agricultural enterprises.Leading agricultural enterprises have greater financial support,but different types and regions of enterprises have different financial support;whether the financial support of enterprises can promote the development of enterprises and increase their total factor productivity is an important question worth exploring.This paper selects sample data of 1145 production and processing national leading agricultural enterprises from 2016 to 2017,combined with the theory of total factor productivity,focuses on the analysis of the current status and problems of China’s agricultural leading enterprises,and discusses the relationship between financial support and total factor productivity of enterprises.Attempt to explore the mechanism of financial support to the enterprise’s total factor productivity.The research shows that:(1)There are differences in the financial support received by enterprises in different industries and industries.The eastern region,state-owned enterprises,and food industries are the key areas,nature,and industries of government financial support.(2)Total factor production of leading agricultural enterprises is on the rise,mainly due to technological progress of leading agricultural enterprises.(3)Whether and how much agricultural leading enterprises receive financial support has a significant negative impact on the enterprise ’s total factor productivity.This shows that the financial support of enterprises has a distorting effect on the increase of their total factor productivity.More,the greater the distortion of the enterprise ’s total factor productivity.(4)The effect of financial support on technical efficiency and technological progress index makes it have a negative impact on the improvement of the enterprise ’s total factor productivity;based on the enterprise ’s export subsidies,the relationship between financial support and the enterprise ’s total factor productivity is verified and found Support does have a negative effect on total factor productivity of enterprises;(5)The improvement of total factor productivity of leading agricultural enterprises is still affected by other factors.Relevant policy suggestions are proposed based on the analysis of this article:(1)Establish a financial support fund supervision and management mechanism to improve the utilization rate of financial support funds.(2)Distribute financial support funds reasonably so as to reasonably guide the development of leading agricultural enterprises.(3)Increasing the total factor productivity of leading agricultural enterprises should focus on improving technical efficiency,supplemented by promoting technological progress.
