The merchant in Mongolia area is the persons who are from the Central mainland to Mongolia engaged in the trade of border are merchants, traders and suppliers in the Ming and Qing times. The merchant in the Mongolia development in the Ming and Qing times, they entered its flourishing era in the late Qing times. Most of the merchant in Mongolia area are merchants from Shanxi, also part come from Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin etc, there are a few race of han and hui merchants from Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai. The author primarily through operating activities discussed the merchant in Mongolia from Shanxi to explain the characteristics of their operating activities, as well as the inspiration for modern society.This article specializes the merchant in Mongolian of Ming and Qing times business activities in Outer Mongolia, discussing main around the Outer Mongolia Kulun, uliastay, Khovd and Kyakhta town, exploring the positive impact of the merchant in Mongolia’s operating activities in Outer Mongolia animal husbandry, agriculture and commerce industry, and objective analyzing the negative impact of Outer Mongolia of the merchant in Mongolia business activities on the basis of the operating data. Da shengkui for example, made the merchant in Mongolia from operating activities microscopic analysis, more vivid to reveal the characteristics of the merchant in Mongolia of operating activities in Outer Mongolia.The article by literature survey, comparative analysis method, combination of standardized analysis and empirical analysis method to study the merchant in Mongolia operating activities in Outer Mongolia. The first part of the article is the historical background representations of the merchant in Mongolia in Outer Mongolia, explained the merchant in Mongolia’s modes and features of the primitive accumulation of capital. The second part is the scope of the operation of the merchant in Mongolia in Outer Mongolia, to do some introduction to the town’s commercial district of Kulun, uliastay, Khoved and Kyakhta, and taking Da Shengkui for example to analyze the features of the merchant in Mongolia’s operating activities in various cities and towns. The third part analyzes the merchant in Mongolia’s operating activities in Outer Mongolia divided into positive and negative effect. The last part of the operating activities of the merchant in Mongolia business activities of model analysis, enlightenment for the modern significance.
