Risk Management In The R&D Projects Of The Third Class Drugs

New drug research and development is an important approach to make profit for a pharmaceutical company. However, this approach can bring high profits, as well as enormous risks. Risk management is indispensable for new product research and development projects.With the third type of new drugs of Pfizer APAC Innovation Center as the research objective, this article summarized risk management features of new drug R&D projects based on risk management theories. According to the period and elements of R&D process, the author used the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process to make a comprehensive and detailed research on the risk of the three projects. In the process of the research, this author practice the new mode of risk analysis, and finally found some risk distribution law of new drug R&D projects, which is of some reference value to the risk assessment of such projects.
