Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital,formerly known as county hospital was founded in1950and renamed for Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital in1985. After nearly two decades of development, it has now become a secondary level hospital integrated traditional and western features, including medical, disease prevention, health care, teaching and so on. Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital emphasizes Chinese traditional medicines as direction of hospital development. Stroke Branch was named the top ten major Chinese medicine specialist of Xinxiang. In order to regulate drugs administration,the hospital begins to carry out centralized bidding procurement system and constantly improve drugs and materials purchase and sale management system, eliminate the phenomenon of "kickbacks" and pay much attention on drugs procurement chain management.In2012,the hospital gained medical business income of13.47million yuan, increased by29.03percent.Among tatal income, drugs income occupied6.26million yuan, medical income occupied7.21million yuan and Chinese medicine income accounted for38.02percent.Income from drugs, especially Chinese drugs share has an increasing tend in future.However, drugs procurement chain management improvemet in hosptal can not meet the future development of the hospital.Drugs inventoy management issues have become to come to force.For example,hospital traditional drugs administation process has been aging, information technology in hospital can not be used widely,drugs inventory and account can not match,bullwhip effect,administrators have no awareness of reducing inventory costs and so on.After Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital had completed relocation in2011,inventory backlog problems have been more and more serious. A large number of drugs backlog in hospital storerooms. Not only a lot of liquidity in hospital has been occupied,affecting normal turnover of hospital capital but also too much manpower, materials and financial resources have been consumed in the warehouse management and conservation work,thus Fengqiu traditional medical hospital can not develop very fast. In the occasion of the reform of China’s medical and health With stricter of our country enofrce GSP, Hospital coffers construction standards is becoming higher and higher.The hospital must invest a lot of money to reserve backlog in of drugs. Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital has been awared of the drawbacks of traditional medicine inventory management mode. In order to achieve a rapid increase in hospital operating efficiency, the hospital must reform the existing drug inventory management mode. Based on the normal operation of clinical drugs supply,choosing a more efficient and rational drug inventory management mode to improve the efficiency of drug management,reduce the cost of drugs and make hospital liquidity flows faster. This article is based on the above point of view,throughouting the current situation of the inventory management abroad, combining basic overview of hospital in our contry,analysising deeply the status of Fengqiu traditional medical hospital medicine inventory management, this article reveals several problems of Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital.First,drugs in the hospital has circulated too much,causing a serise of problems.Second, hospital traditional drugs administation process has been aging. Third,drugs have taken up a lot of liquidity and physical space. Fourth, bullwhip effect and drugs on the accounts and the actual inventory is not consistent. The major reasons of these problems are following:First,Hospital applications of online procurement platform is unreasonable. Second, drugs Procurement plan is not working. Third,hospital storeroom administrators have low quality of management. Forth, Hospital information technology is not fully applied.Above all these problems and reasons,this article puts forward a new drugs management mode..In order to make the mode can be generally recognized and received by staff in hospital,the author carried on a questionnaire survey for hospital pharmacy department staff perceptions of management of drug stock and specific project implementation situation before the hospital implemented the mode,conclusing that the new method is scientific and feasible and some key projects.Then the author firstly defined the central idea, Business Process Re-engineering and Relative zero inventory. According to the basic idea,the article builds the new mode in Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital which includes how to improve drugs inventory management processes and what measures to take to solve the problem of lack of drugs.At the same time,to ensure the mode implement successfully,the author proposed three aspects:Establish the Pharmacy Administration Committee to set up drug suppliers selection and evaluation system, Strengthen financial management to improve the level of financial analysis,Create a dynamic monitoring mechanism to have real-time monitoring of drugs.At last, combined with the specific situation of Fengqiu Traditional Medicine Hospital, the article analysis of the effect produced by the implementation of the new mode, Reduce inventory occupation liquidity,Make drugs procurement and clinical drugs supply link exactly,Account relevent costs independently,Downsizing to improve efficiency,Ensure the quality of drugs,Reduce the waste of health resources from a social point of view.
