In this constantly changing business environment and global market, products need to be quickly put into market, at the same time company should create a sustainable organization.Therefore,at present, managers confused with the priority of contradictions and competing.These factors lead to new requirement to nowadays’ managers, Leadership is a decisive factor for enterprises to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, effectively enhance the corporate leadership, build and strengthen the corporate leadership of globalization is the key factor to promote enterprise more sustainable, healthy and steady.As China’s economy is booming, and its economic model is transferred from extensive to intensive,but the average10%increasing in GDP cannot covered the lacking of internal strength in corporate leadership.One enterprise’s management strength is depending on the status of the internal back-up in middle-management. In fact the internal mid-management becomes the new bottleneck for business growing, many companies do not know how to do mid-management training, but only did some simple training to solve this problem. Sames as some companies copy the Western leadership modeling and carry out a series of mid-management trainings. This paper described the competency model theory and meantime combining corporate development stage, organizational culture, job characteristics etc to establish middle management’s competency model. Taking Lindstrom as a case to establish the company’s mid-management competency model, this study will also discuss on the application of Lindstrom mid-management’s competency model on some other issue such as human resources management system, corporate middle-managers recruiting and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, career planning. It provides a basis to help to improve the overall quality of enterprise management level and middle management in personnel; it also has a certain practical meaning.
