The project management was initially used for the development of construction industry, is a method for controlling the schedule, cost and specification program management method. Project management is a combination of art, standardized management processes; it is effective in combination with a variety of systems, resources and personnel to complete the project in the stipulated time, budget and quality goals. With the increasingly fierce competition between the development of market economy and enterprises, it was discovered that the project management methodology can be applied to many industries, and help enterprises to improve opportunities for the successful delivery of the project through effective planning. Therefore, the applications of project management methods range from the development of the manufacturing industry to many high-tech industries. China’s real estate industry is a rapidly growing demand and competitive industry. Real estate companies need to win to survive by raising the level of project management space, at the same time enhance the core competitiveness over competitors. However, different from other projects, real estate projects involve planning, architectural, mechanical and electrical, garden and multidisciplinary engineering systems. Co-ordination of different professionals, different resource allocation and the grasp of the progress of the overall project, require enterprises with project management capabilities. Therefore, with strong project management, the real estate development team can provide greater flexibility and increase the likelihood of success of the real estate project. This article uses the case study method, Hisense Lingxiu City project, for example, designed based on the theory of project management to explore the whole process of management of real estate projects. The advantage of the case study method is that it’s able to combine real-life situations and guide people into the reality of the project management process through typical case details and case analyzes. From the developer’s perspective, the Hisense Lingxiu City project does well in the pre-market research and market planning, as well as in the project construction process. A detailed description and analysis of the whole process of the Hisense Lingxiu City project will be in the body part of this article. At the end of the article, this article will summarize the experience of Hisense Lingxiu City project management. Overall, the Hisense Lingxiu City project is a classic case to explore the whole process of management mode of real estate projects. This paper aims to give advices to Chinese real estate industry.
