Empirical Analysis Of Stakeholder Responsibility And Performance Correlation For Listed Corporations

Since western countries put forward the concept of corporate social responsibilityin the1920’s, stakeholders’ responsibility questions raise more and more people’sattention. Foreign has put the standards and execution into legal procedure, issued aseries of laws and regulations and defining standards, aiming at making fulfillingstakeholder responsibility a kind of obligations and trend. While in China’s economicsystem, most corporations don’t fulfill stakeholder responsibility actively, they thinkfulfilling stakeholder responsibility is extra cost and will decease corporate profit. Sowhat is the relationship between stakeholder and corporate performance? Will fulfillingstakeholder responsibility promote or inhibit corporate performance? The study aboutthe relationship between the two is still in the beginning stage, so this paper will studythe relationship between the two using theory and empirical methods and this will havesupplement and reference significance in both theory study and practice field.Firstly, this paper studies the relationship between stakeholder responsibility andcorporate performance in the perspective of stakeholders after summarizing the researchresults at home and abroad. Then, this paper introduces the concept of stakeholder andcorporate performance, explains theories about stakeholder responsibility, including theconcept and the classification of stakeholder responsibility, and analyzes howcorporations decide fulfilling stakeholder responsibility in short-term and long-term bygame method. At last, this paper discusses how corporate fulfilling stakeholderresponsibility influence corporate performance and makes the cortical foil for the next.Secondly, this paper put forward assumes based on the analysis above, collect andsort samples, set up a set of measuring stakeholder responsibility and corporateperformance finical index system, and test at last. In the process of test, this paper fistprecedes the pimple analysis of stakeholder responsibility index to decease indexes, andthen precedes regression analysis between the prinple factors and corporate performanceso as to test the relationship of stakeholder responsibility and corporate performance.Lastly, this paper put forward opinions and suggestions about fulfilling stakeholderresponsibility. From the test result above, we know that fulfilling stakeholderresponsibility has promotion to corporate performance, so fulfilling stakeholderresponsibility has actively significance in corporate future development. Based on this,this paper put forward advices in fulfilling stakeholder responsibility in practice, andsummarizes this paper’s study achievement and disadvantages.
