With the rapid development of the catering industry, catering enterprises are facingmore and more demand for highly qualified personnel, but because the management ofcatering industry in China is still not perfect, there are a range of issues, resulting in aserious the brain drain. In order to be able to attract and retain the qualified personnel,the catering industry should strengthen human resources management, a good incentivemechanism is an important aspect of enterprise management.Effectively motivate staff,are important management method for companies to retain employees, at the same time,the enterprise’s incentive is also related to the vital interests of employees. Therefore,the incentive system is perfect or not is a measure of catering enterprises to attracttalents, retain staff and the key to successful operations.This article obtains from the related theory research, to build the theoretical basisof the research. Analyzing the chain restaurant industry’s development at home andabroad by using environment analysis method and case study method, and points out theforeign chain catering enterprises in human resources management which hasaccumulated successful experience and lessons. At the same time, it is pointed out thatthe domestic restaurant problems exist in staff motivation and future developmenttrends. On this basis, a systematic analysis of the current staff motivation situation ofChina division of Yum Brands, clearing the group’s incentive problems in humanresources. In this process, using methods such as questionnaire, statistical analysis,behavioral interviews for the investigation on human resources incentive in Yum!, anddoing the data analysis, provides the foundation for the subsequent development ofChinese Yum on Human Resources incentive management programs condition. Afterthe above research results, putting forward the improvement program in how toincentive the employees.According to the requirements of the improvement programgoals and paths, put forward the implementation ways for the new human resourcesincentive scheme.
