Corporate life cycle theory tells us that enterprises in different stages of the life cycleface different problems,making the same management strategies in different stages showingdiverse growth in the enterprise management. The development of automotive industry has animportant strategic role in China’s industrial structure upgrading and economic restructuring,and is also an important indicator of national economic strength.Therefore, it is important tostudy automobile manufacturing enterprises’ management strategies in the growth of differentstages. Only by finding out the key points of the specific growth stage, through the wholeprocess of management of business growth, can we regulation, control the speed of thedevelopment of enterprises in the development process, in order to seek the extension of thecorporate life and sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to provide theoreticaland methodological support in clearing the enterprise development direction of China’sautomobile manufacturing, and selecting the appropriate management strategy, makingmanagement of enterprises more efficient, enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises.The paper summarizes the management strategy of China’s auto manufacturers at thisstage according to corporate life cycle theory.I start from the characteristics of China’s automanufacturers, then describe the changes and new features in the business environment.According to some scholars on the division of the business life cycle stage, the author usesqualitative analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to divide the stage of the lifecycle of the car manufacturer.The car manufacturer of the life cycle is divided into four stagesof the start-up, growth, maturity, and a period of recession.The author summarizes themanagement characteristics showing in different corporate life cycle stage. On this basis, Ibuild a car manufacturing companies analysis index system at different stages of policypropose using of the analytic hierarchy process to sort the importance of diverse managementstrategies in various stages of car manufacturing companies, and taking FAW Car, as anexample. Finally, the author summarizes the final system of the management strategies whichshould be taken in. each stage by China’s auto manufacturers in the current economicenvironment, and provides the basis for the enterprise’s management decision-making. Thethesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter One. Introduction. This chapter describes the background, purpose and meaning,Researches in home and abroad, research ideas, methods, and possible innovations.Chapter Two. Theory and automobile manufacturing enterprise development features.System of this chapter discusses the corporate life cycle theory and its significance; combinesthe management strategies that the enterprises are mainly taken in the current environment;analysis the developmental characteristics of the car manufacturer, respectively from thebusiness environment changes, new features, as well as the problem that enterprises are facing.These provides a theoretical foundation and background conditions for the following parts.Chapter Three. The life cycle stage division and management features. This chapterdescribes two typical business life cycle classification method, summarizes the features andthe scope of application of qualitative analysis and fuzzy synthetic discriminant, divides thecorporate life cycle into four parts combing with China’s automobile manufacturing enterprisedevelopment features, and analyze the management characteristics in the four stages ofcorporate life cycle.Chapter Four. Management strategies in various stages of of the life cycle. In this chapter,combined with the characteristics of the car manufacturer and the systematic principle ofindicators design, the author select six secondary indicators,20three indicators to buildmanagement strategy index system in various stages of corporate life cycle, and propose theidea of using the Analytic Hierarchy Process to analysis management strategies.Chapter Five. FAW Car Co., Ltd. case study. In this chapter, the author use the analysismethod above to study FAW Car Co., Ltd. First use fuzzy comprehensive discriminant todetermine the corporate life cycle, followed by the summary of the main characteristics andconstraints of the enterprise development of maturity FAW, and finally use the analytichierarchy process to select the management strategy in maturity of FAW Car.Chapter Six. Strategic choice of the automobile manufacturing enterprise in Variousstages of life cycle. In this chapter, The author describes the key management strategies whichshould be taken in various stages of car manufacturer life cycle combing empirical analysis,in order to provide recommendations for the development of China’s auto manufacturers.
