With the development of E-Commerce, the concept of M-commerce emerged. Just as the Internet has changed the world, E-Commerce, based on Internet, alters people’s living and shopping habit. Thanks to the mature of mobile technology, M-commerce, with a larger user base, is believed to have a bright prospect. Currently, M-Commerce in Chinese market is in its initial stage. When business model in traditional E-Commerce is not clear, it is worthwhile to discuss questions such as how to start business in M-Commerce, what value it brings out to customers, vendors and retailers, what value it adds to the whole industry, from the view of academic and business.M-Commerce is able to meet people’s consumption need "anywhere, anytime and on demand" in the ear of time fragmentation and goods customization. The constriction of M-Commerce includes equipment, bandwidth and charges.This thesis reviews the phases in M-Commerce, studies its value chain, and tries to analyze its business model.Three aspects are studied in the thesis:the whole M-commerce industry; Eco-system of mobile operation system; Business Model which fits to M-Commerce and pushed by innovation.Finally, the thesis summarizes business models, which will add value to the M-commerce, and forecasts the possible integration with new technology and application.
