The controller is the major factor for the development of industrialcontrolling. Controller with correctness, speediness and high universalityrepresents the merits of time-saving and cost-saving. Therefore, the optimizedcontroller has a positive influence on industrial controllingdevelopment.Based on the ARM, PID controller with8input and8outputis designed. The input and output of PID controller are standard signal (4~20mADC,1~5VDC), each channel of PID parameters can be changed by manualinputs, also it has the function of display the related data and alarming. The hardware of the controller includes S3C2410chip with ARM920T core,LCD screen and4×4keyboard. Assembly language and C language are used inthe driver and application program writing Qt designer and used to design theHMI when it is developed. The design of controller’s software includes three parts. The first is drivingprogram, it is compiled in the core which can make the minimum system worknormally. The second is driving code of the external equipment, which canrealize the corresponding function according external equipment, such as LCDdriver coding, multi-control driving program. The third are application programand PID algorithm code, which is developed by advanced language. When thesoftware compile finished, debugging the software, if it work well, then can bedebugged by JTAG, making all the developed function work smoothly. The controller can achieve relative function after testing. The controller canreceive standard signal by multi-channel, Attainning the anticipated effectthrough A/D conversion process by PID adjustment, with certain popularity andconvenience; therefore, it has the prospect of development and application.
