The traditional control method in street lamp monitoring system is unhandy and the system is difficult to manage and maintain. To solve these problems, this dissertation focuses on designing a new remote terminal unit (RTU) of city street lamp supervisory control and data acquisition system. As a field measuring and control unit, RTU is a multifunctional device that involves data acquisition and processing, field controlling and remote wireless communication etc.Based on the analysis of theμPSD3234 chip, a design and its implementation of street lamp remote terminal unit is proposed. It includes the program demonstration, hardware designing, software designing and other idiographic details.Firstly, the author chooses the core component of the RTU, Micro Control Unit, in this dissertation; then, the author describes the choices of different hardware circuit schemes, the designing of hardware circuit and software for real-time clock, data acquisition and A/D conversion, communication, electrical parameter measuring and etc. In the end, the author emphasizes in introducing some anti-jamming measures. In this paper, author also summarized technological achievement and project experience.Now,the system has been run steadily and reliably in Changshu city. It is proved that the system can promote social benefits. The application of this system is very promising and valuable.
