Nowadays, with the rapid economic growth and information technology by leaps and bounds, all kinds of information tend to digital and clarifications in the life. The bus is an important transportation tool in the modern city life. With the increase in the number, the bus model’s diversification and the multi-level driver, so that makes public transportation information management complex. Today’s society, most of the industry has taken the information management system as an important management method of all walks of life, which is an important symbol of modern management. At the same time, the computer network management can greatly improve the management efficiency and management level in aspects information of the public transportation, which provides a great help to the development of public transportation. Therefore, how to better complete the bus information management is necessary to solve the problem of public transportation development. Through so much investigation and research, make use of more advanced management technology to design and implementation the bus information management system.The bus information management system adopts the method of software engineering to design. This paper mainly introduces the system requirement acquisition and analysis, system design and system implementation and test. This paper describes system function demand with the method of use case analysis, through the use case diagram, the activity diagram and the use cases description table describes the detailed function of the system; The function structure, physical structure and technical architecture of the diagram describes a general design system framework; With the aid of class diagram and the timing diagram describes the detailed design system; The content of system has made a reasonable database modeling and analysis and based on the3NF of database design reasonable E-R diagram; Through the system function interface diagram shows the system function and briefly introduced the implementation code for part of the system function; Through the black box testing method describe the system functional testing, and summarized the work of this paper.Through the detailed analysis and design to the bus information management system finally realized five main functional modules, including station management, line management, bus management, public management and system management. The station management includes the maintenance of the station information, station facilities management and station surrounding information. The line management includes line information maintenance, bus route query and line temporary change. The bus management includes bus information management, driver information management, driver health records, bus maintenance, routine inspection of bus, emergency of bus. The public management includes public message boards and announcement management. The system management includes the system user management, role management and password modification. The implementation of the system function basically meets the needs of the business of the bus information management.The bus information management system helps bus company carries on the management to the public transport information. To meet the basic needs of public traffic information management. At the same time, it can make the efficient processing of line, station, vehicles, driver and other information, so that make the processing of bus data simplification. Like this, not only reduce the burden of the staff, but also can improve the work efficiency, provide a good exchange platform for the public inquiry bus lines, station and service information and realize the scientific management of bus, bus lines and drivers, so that a more rational use of resources.
