Design And Implementation Of Building Network Test System In Digital Campus

With rapid development of information technology and network technology, distance education has become one of the teaching approaches in universities, which enable students to study online, take examinations and get appraisal. As universities have improved the hardware and software facilities, it has become the objective of university campus construction to achieve digitalization and internetization of teaching information. In response to digitalization construction of the teaching information, universities have paid increasingly attention to network testing, which break through the time and space limitation of traditional examinations to realize flexible paperless testing.Being an application of digital campus construction, network testing system can meet changes in technology and classroom structure. It builds a network testing platform for students and teachers to give timely feedback. Meantime, the system gives integration testing and automatically achievement analysis. It’s a network testing system adopted the B/S mode multi-tier structure, MyEclipse on JAVA basis, combined with such open source framework as Struts, Hibernate and Spring as well as the open relational database MySQL and the J2EE development environment. The paper introduces the research background and the overall planning of digital campus construction. With the theory of software engineer design, the paper gives a thorough description of the system requirements analysis, preliminary design, function, appraisal, etc.The testing system consists of three main modules, which is administrator module, teacher module and the student module. Different group users can login in respectively subsystems. Administrators can maintain information of students and teachers. Teachers can upload, search, modify or deletion the tests. The system realizes manual and automatic generation of papers. It enables teachers to set test subjects and test time, check the papers and make grading. It analyzes student achievement in the form of charts, and exports transcripts in excel tables, or transfer the scores into the teaching system to generate student scores transcripts. Students can login in the system and take an examination during the testing period and can modify personal information.The system mainly solves the following three questions. Firstly, free generation of papers, which is the paper generation design on basis of random and manual generation. Secondly, export of papers, if needed, the papers can be exported from paper base in word documents. Thirdly, generation of grade charts and export of test results. Fourthly, import of paper base in standardized word documents. The system reduces the cost of the exam, break through the limitations of time and space of the exam, making the testing and marking much easier and faster.
