Once these information given to the public, the negative influence on government will be great. It is also the reason that America hates Assange. The WikiLeaks exposed to the world that the war in Afghanistan and Iraq war’s secret telegraph, whether this kind of behavior infringes the interests of the state of the United States, whether or not to perform specific tasks in the war of American troops in hot water, Assange eventually proved to the world that the United States seems to against its advocates values that advocate freedom of information and speech. Traditional media is facing with many difficulties at the same time, they are unable to verify the accuracy of the news, they has no hard source, but nothing can prevent the WikiLeaks’ exposure of the incident, and if the event is published, the circulation surely unprecedented increase, resulting in huge profits, any media is unable to resist this. Eventually, these newspapers will do all it can to try their best to ensure its accuracy and print out one of the most credible part. By this way to cooperate with traditional media, the WikiLeaks reduces its own operating costs and changes from a publisher to a provider. The WikiLeaks’ series exposure actions, carrying out the news transparency, at the same time, it also makes the traditional media embarrassed. Even Europe and the United States and other developed countries, the traditional mainstream media also always acted as the role of the government mouthpiece, they are servicing to the nation. As can be seen from the WikiLeaks event, the West is not as free as propaganda. Freedom is relative, when western governments foresee the WikiLeaks will do something to produce a negative impact to them, they will do their best to stop it, with no mercy. This essay also analyze this impact, in order the public will be able to realize the limitations of the Western freedom of the press.
