The Design And Implementation Of The Online Examination System On Computer Application Basis For Shandong Communication And Media College

With the rapid development of computer network technology, network applications have penetrated into many areas of the society. In the field of education, the application of network technology has brought about a change in the traditional education mode. Computer application basis course in our college has been using the traditional form of paper-based examination. On one hand, it can not be a good test of computer application skills of the students; on the other hand, with the increase of higher vocational enrollment in recent years, the cost of the examination is increasing gradually. Therefore, in order to test students’ level of computer application more objectively, improve examination efficiency and reduce the examination cost, developing a set of computer application basis course online examination system for students in our college is very necessary.This paper first analyzes the system development background and research situation at home and abroad, and then further research the system business needs. Based on the analysis of the system requirements, this paper introduces the detailed design of the system. System development uses JSP technology, based on B/S three layer architecture, using Struts+Hibernate framework based on MVC. System designs in the use of sequence diagram and class diagram for system functional design in detail, using the E-R diagram and data table for detailed analysis and design of the system database. The system uses SQL Server2008database technology for database development. And finally, after the realization of the code and interface design, the online exam system on computer application basis for Shandong Communication and Media College is realized.According to the needs of the system, the examination system mainly realized the functions of seven modules:question bank management, exam affairs management, exam paper management, online examination, marking management, exam results management and entrance students-level division management. The system can realize management of question types, question input, examination arrangements, automatic generating test paper, students’ online examination and other functions. In marking management, the system can realize objective questions automatic scoring and operational questions manual marking combined scoring method. In exam results management, the system can realize an assessment method of combing usual results with test scores. In addition, the system can also realize students’ level division according to their basic skills test scores in their first examination after enrollment, and provide the basis for hierarchical teaching of the course. The system implementation is really suitable for the requirements of teaching and examination on computer application basis course in our college, and can guarantee the efficiently working of computer application basis course examinations.The examination system has been completed, and the entire system functional tests are performed. All the indexes meet the user requirements. The efficient and stable operation of the system makes the test efficiency improved, and makes the computer application basis course examinations more scientific, reasonable and automatic. It will also further promote our college construction of teaching informationization.
