Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System For Xi'an Communications Section Of Xi'an Railway Bureau

Xi'an Communications Section has jurisdiction over all the Railway communication lines and equipments of Xi'an Railway Bureau, with large quantities of staff working in many different posts, so there is great difficulty in training and assessing the whole staff in it. Currently workers test mainly adopts the traditional written examination way, but for this way, from conducting the examination papers, printing the papers, centralizing examination, invigilating and marking the examination papers to analyze, report and publish the results, a series of operational process are involved. For the vocational education staff, there is a large number of tedious work to be done. Besides the organization of the examination is difficult, and the usual practice in simulated examination can not be provided, thus the effect of assessment has been greatly affected. Consequently the current examination way can not meet the demands of the communication section staff,while an online examination system is in great need to reduce the intensity of work of the vocational education staff in communication section and the workshops and the new system can reduce staff assessment operation cost and improve the vocational education working efficiency.The online exam system owns automatic recognition of user login, users accessing different modules; random test, test module test automatic timing, automatic assignment, automatic scoring are also provided. Backstage administrator module can manage users, systematize the role, status information, and carry out the database management, paper management, online examination management, marking management, performance management and other functions, and support the item bank establishment, batch import test. The new system simplifies the staff examination process, makes the examination more convenient, easy to operate, saves waste of resources of people and material, and educes the operation cost and solves the shortcomings of the traditional examination, making the examination process more transparent and controllable. It can greatly enhance the efficiency and effect of Xi'an communication section staff assessment.This system uses Visual Studio.NET 2005 integrated development platform, with Visual C#.NET and SQL Server 2005 as a development tool, using Visual Visio 2010 for the drawing and analysis, to design and implement it through the B/S architecture.
