Iris diagnostics is based on the analysis of the iris’s color and structure of fibroustissue, to determine body’s health Which also a complete science. iris is used to measurethe current health status and to be medical tools to prevent disease.Sodium loop is one of the most important characteristics in computer-aided diagnosisof iris. Although The research of the computer aided diagnosis and the application of it hasvery wide,Even some studies have considerable depth,But the research about sodiumdetection are relatively few.At present has retrieved an article about sodiumdetection,University of technology in Malaysia R.A.R amlee, put forward in2009,UseOTSU threshold method to detect sodium loop,By detecting the existence of sodium in theiris loop to judge whether the cholesterol content in the blood vessels.Based on OTSUthreshold method Test lab gallery,The experimental accuracy is only77%,Through theanalysis found in gray image, the boundary of the sodium ring and sclera relatively fuzzy,iris images in laboratory,difference of iris gray value between sodium loop with the rest issmall,So only under the gray image by OTSU threshold will affect the sodium detectionaccuracy.In view of the above situation,This paper put forward a algorithm of iris sodium loopdetection under the space of HSI,Through the data fusion of H, S and I,combined with thealgorithms of image processing to complete the sodium loop detection。Overcome strongsubjectivity by the traditional manual in detection of sodium loop,Reduce difficult toaccurate calibration, etc.The gray level difference of boundary information in Sodium loopis small,in this methods, avoid the problem for detection accuracy,Finally the sodium loophas detection automatic. Detect82figure with sodium sodium loop,the accuracy is92%,Detection of120normal iris image, the test results for sodium loop error rate is6.7%,Show that this algorithm has high accuracy.
