Financial Funding Problem Of Media Institutional Retirement System Reform

Retirement system is national welfare system to protect the living standard of the retiree. At present, there are two types of retirement systems in China, which are governmental institution pension and corporate pension insurance. With the reform of the old aged pension and the deepening cultural institution reform, media will face fundamental changes in their nature, funding sources and management. The funding of corporate pension insurance is now gradually becoming the main pension system to the retiree. Institutional pension no longer depends on government funding, which is destined to fade out. How to set up an old aged pension system with multi sources of funding and low risk has become the top issue facing the governmental institutions.This dissertation is based on the case study of Guangzhou Broadcasting Network (GZBN) as a traditional media institution, facing a lot of challenges such as funding, personnel and management, etc. It researches the funding of the old aged pension in the governmental institutions. The dissertation has6chapters. Chapter1presents the background, methodology, and main subjects of the paper. Chapter2mainly discusses the development of the institutional old aged pension and its challenges. Chapter3gives a general idea of the old aged pension reform in GZBN and its challenges. Chapter4analyzes the main factors affecting the funding of the retirement system reform in GZBN. Chapter5, on the basis of empirical analysis and a variety of research methods and tools, offers constructive suggestions to the funding project through the practice of enterprise annuity in GZBN. Chapter6draws a conclusion on how to solve the institutional retirement funding and makes outlook on the funding development of old aged pension.
