Wireless sensor network (WSN) is the multi-knowledge crossed research realm whichinvolves microelectronics, embedded computing, sensors, communications and othertechnologies. At present, due to its broad application prospect in military, spaceexploration, rescue and other business domain, the researchers have paid much attention onwireless sensor network.Node deployment is one of the important issues in the research field of wirelesssensor network. The number and location of the sensor nodes deployed in the target areadetermines the topology of the network, which will further affect other properties of sensornetworks, such as network coverage, connectivity, network construction cost and servicelife. Therefore, in order to successfully complete the monitoring mission, the sensor nodesshould be properly deployed. This paper mainly studies the mobile node deployment problem in hybrid wirelesssensor network. The specific research and implementation work includes the followingaspects:1) This paper briefly introduces the concept of wireless sensor network and therelated research background, analyzes the current research status at home andabroad of wireless sensor network and explains the relevant technology of wirelesssensor network.2) This paper introduces several common sensing models, summarizes theclassification of coverage problem of the wireless sensor network, and discussesseveral typical sensor node deployment algorithms.3) In hybrid wireless sensor network, a deployment algorithm based on grid scanningis proposed; the proposed algorithm adopts the probability model and is designedto improve the coverage of the target point. 4) Due to the effect of various environmental factors, the sensory data of nodes maybe not precise, and the commonly used binary sensing model and probabilitymodel can’t reflect the real situation very well. This paper presents a model basedon the false alarm rate, and performs mobile nodes deployment task in the hybridsensor network using the proposed model to maximize the network coverage area.
