With the rapid development of the computer information, There have been a lot of electronicdocuments in the Enterprise. But how to manage more effective these electronic documents。Many documents are saved in the computer of personal or department, the result is this resourceand information can’t be shared in enterprise. Solving the problem for example, limits of power, historic record, effective management of version and sharing with each other. This puzzles mostenterprises. The management system of electronic document is the basic informational system which isimplemented for a business. The management of electronic documents involves the businessknowledge, the communication of the staff, the sharing of all the resource and so on. The systemincludes not only the management of the business knowledge but also the sharing of resources.Ifthe enterprise could integrate the modern computer technology, network communication and theadvanced thinking of business administration, The system would enhance the concert of the staff, the sharing of resources and improve greatly the productiveness. The system which consists of three phases, the requirement analysis, the design and thecoding is realized according to the specification of the software development. The functions of the system of electronic document include such module as the systemmanagement, the user management and the document management. The system managementmodule involves such function as the role management, the folder management which stores thedocuments and the permission management which control the all roles’ operation. The alldocuments is stored in the folders, every role has different permission for example: creation, modify, and delete. Every user is related one or more roles. The functions of user managementconsist of setting up users, updating users and the mapping between users and roles. The most important module is the document management which includes creatingdocuments, modifying, viewing and deleting. The document’s attributes involve: the number, the name, the folder, the attachment, the key word and the description. The electronic files arerelated to the document through adding the native files which are saved in computer to thedocument. The operation permission is controlled by the role of the user. The change historic isrecorded by the different version. The users can share the resources of the system if they had thepermission. The general design philosophies comply with Object Oriented and the C/S model. Manyconcepts such as object, class, inherit and relevancy is applied in the system’s design. The systemadopts the C/S design model according to the comparison between the B/S and C/S. Using theUML as the detail design language and the Microsoft Office Visio as the tool, the paperimplement the class diagrams for example: the user, the role and the doc. And the use diagramssuch as creating user, crating doc and updating doc. The paper descries such database model asthe user, the role and the doc using the E-T diagram. The system is realized using Windows XP as the OS and using MyEclipse as the coding tooland adopting SQL Server2008as the database and adopting JAVA as the coding language. The paper discusses the scheme of the management system of the electronic doc, solvingsuch problem as the permission, the historic record and the sharing, which can establish theperfect controlling of the drawings and documents, and provide the synergy research condition. The system adopts the C/S development model which is realized by java language. But thescheme of the paper has some aspects which can be improved, for example, the system can berealized by the three layers architecture, implementing by adopting such open framework asJ2EE, and the server can use Tomcat or weblogic, the database can use Oracle and so on. Theseopen frameworks are more important for the expansion and reusing of the system, and is morevaluable for the enterprise.
