Due to the different manufacturers making the configuration of the product is different, in order to meet the needs of their testing and calibration, this paper developed a set of test and calibration system which could measure two kinds of output signal compatibly, this system can be used to measure four sets of IMU of pulse, and also can be used to measure eight sets of IMU of serial port, greatly improved the efficiency of the factory testing and calibration.This article expounds the relevant background knowledge of IMU and IMU testing technology firstly, then it introduces the key research content and overall design of scheme, and puts forward several feasible plan combination, then compare and research it deeply, at last chooses to use a lower machine system design scheme of USB with FPGA, and user interface and data calibration application program of upper machine are designed by the combination of VC++6.0and Matlab which realized the eight way IMU data of serial port and forty eight way IMU data of pulse receiving, display, preservation and calibration.The system is mainly composed of three parts:the first part is the USB interface part, lower machine adopts USB chip of CY7C68013EZ-USB as CYPRESS Company which can be directly to read and write the USB device through the CYPRESS Company general driver development kit. The second part is the software programming, mainly implement receiving, display and saving of eight way IMU data of serial port and forty eight way IMU data through MFC. The third part is the calibration part of the IMU data, mainly describes the Matlab called by VC and the data error model used in calibration.The end of this article describes the combination of hardware and software debugging in the whole test system and some technical problems encountered during the project and the final solution. After rigorous testing can be obtained in this paper, the design of IMU data reception and calibration system can completely meet the requirements of different manufacturers, the function also is up to the manufacturer’s technical requirements, the system runs stably, can complete the manufacturer production IMU testing and calibration work.
