Virtual driving is a kind of application in VR(virtual reality). The technology of virtual driving especially equipment and software have become a hot research topic.3D operations and feedback control system is one of National High Technology Research and Development Program created by Research Joint of Computer Science and Technology (CNU&ICT). It is a research production on the feedback control of VR though computers and it can process and analysis the real-time information and give accurate feedback to the operator who will be thought himself in a real scene. It is an important role in some special training, such as cars, tanks virtual driving.This paper studies the realization of3D virtual driving software and the network communication interface based on3D operations and feedback control system. Since the system can’t use the control information of those commercial software and this paper describes how to design a3D virtual driving software for the system to solve that problems and improve its practicability. This will be provided a new product in the virtual driving applications and a more realistic driving simulation platform.In this paper, by analyzing the present conditions of domestic and foreign technology it decided using Unity3D to achieve the system and to create model by3DMAX and Photoshop and it designed the structure with two modules which one is the virtual driving system that has a build-in communication client to collects and exports state data and the other one is the communication server that receives and transforms data. It deeply analyzes how to design a3D car model, creates a scene, achieves automotive system, exchanges the state information and communicates with networking and designs built-in models to collect, transforms and outputs status data. Especially for simulating the physical characters of the car and exchanging the state data to the networking communicate by physical modeling and mathematical derivation to make the system to have more real driving experience.While building the3D virtual driving software, it considered the current status of the3D operations and feedback control system, evaluated the resource, designed with the techniques of3D software and analyzed the market niche to propos the feasibility of using Unity3D to achieve the software and it did a lot of experiments to get the final conclusion.
