As urbanization plays an increasingly important role in the construction of a well-off society in an all-round way, information science field should pay attention to the information behavior of those people who have lost their land in the process of urbanization. Fixing the land-lost urbanized residents as the research subject, this paper makes an analysis on characteristics and influence factors of their everyday life information seeking behavior. According to the analysis, suggestions are put forward.On the basis of literature research, this study uses interview method to collect relevant information. Then through questionnaire investigation to complete sample data collection, analyzes the data and uses structural equation model method to do confirmatory factor analysis, model fitting evaluation and correction. Finally, explains the results.The findings and results of this paper can be showed as follows:①This paper describes the characteristics of land-lost urbanized residents’everyday life information seeking behavior, compares their behavioral characteristics differences between before and after their relocation from the purpose of infonnation seeking, information needs and ways to get information.②This paper analyzes the relationship between personal background characteristics and everyday life information seeking behavior.③Compiles the influence factor scale, and builds a influence factors structural equation model of land-lost urbanize residents’ of everyday life information seeking behavior,④based on the results of empirical research, puts forward some measures to help land-lost urbanized residents to get everyday life infonnation more effectively. Including strengthen community information ability training, public library information service work, perfecting the construction of community information system.
